Unpacking the 2026 General Election Results: What’s Next for Business Owners and Leaders
Thursday, November 5, 2026
2-3 p.m., EST
Just two days after the November general election, join two of Pennsylvania’s leading statewide experts for a timely discussion of the results, key surprises, and what they could mean for businesses moving forward.
Berwood Yost, Director of Franklin & Marshall College’s Center for Opinion Research, and Luke Bernstein, President and CEO of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, will examine federal and Pennsylvania election outcomes, emerging voting trends, and potential implications for the business community. The conversation will be moderated by RKL’s Eric Wenger.
With the federal administration continuing into its next phase, the final composition of the U.S. House and Senate will play an important role in shaping the direction, scope, and pace of federal policymaking. Business leaders will gain a valuable perspective on the issues likely to influence the national business environment in the months ahead.
In Pennsylvania, the final balance of power across the governor’s office and the General Assembly will help shape the state’s policy and legislative environment. The discussion will provide an objective look at the election results, potential changes in governing dynamics, and the areas business leaders should monitor as priorities emerge.
Join us to discuss:
- Interpreting the major election results and voting trends from Pennsylvania, as well as key national outcomes
- Understanding how the election results may shape public policy, government priorities, and the business environment
- Discussing how businesses can monitor and respond to potential post-election developments affecting their organizations, employees, and communities
